The Next Step: YoPro Know Becomes GPS

For the past seven years, YoPro Know has been at the forefront of helping organizations engage and retain young professionals. What began as a conversation about early-career talent in the form of a blog quickly evolved into a broader mission: enabling organizations to build thriving, multigenerational teams. As we worked alongside business leaders, executives, and professionals of all ages, one truth became clear—our work was never just about young professionals. It was about understanding, leveraging, and strengthening the full generational spectrum in the workforce.

Now, in 2025, the workplace is more dynamic than ever. With five generations working side by side and the rapid rise of AI reshaping how teams collaborate, organizations must move beyond traditional workforce strategies. Success today depends on a company’s ability to harness the strengths of each generation and drive meaningful performance outcomes.

As the Founder and CEO, changing the name of the business has been an emotional journey. Something that has meant so much to me and my life for many years is so much bigger than what I ever set it out to be, and I’m so proud. Proud of this team, our clients, our partners, and friends – everyone who has helped us get to where we are today. In today’s post, I’ve outlined what you need to know about this rebrand and what it means for you, our audience.

Why the Rebrand?

The name YoPro Know reflected our beginnings, but it no longer represents the full scope of our work. Over the years, our team has engaged leaders at every level, tackling challenges in retention, leadership development, and communication across generations. Our mission has grown, and as a result, our name must grow with it.

Over the years, I’ve seen how generational challenges in the workplace extend far beyond age gaps. Instead, they’re about leadership, retention, and performance of individuals. That’s why this rebrand is about more than a name change—it’s about solving the real challenges organizations face today.

This transition to Generational Performance Solutions (GPS) is a reflection of where we are today and where we’re going. GPS embodies the guidance, direction, and solutions we provide to help organizations navigate generational dynamics with confidence. This was not a decision made alone, unlike the last time when I ideated on YoPro Know in my college dorm room! It was a strategic, collective effort driven by our team, ensuring our future aligns with the evolving needs of our clients. One of my proudest moments as a business owner has been selecting the new name of our company as a team. To see it all come together with the help of our CMO partner was a really fulfilling experience.

What GPS Represents

At GPS, we help organizations leverage the synergies and strengths within their workforce to build stronger teams, better leadership, and lasting business growth. Multigenerational leadership, when approached strategically, creates opportunities for innovation, collaboration, and performance at every level. In other words, we’re your guide to maximizing performance across generations in your workforce.

Our Core Solutions

While our name has changed, our mission remains the same. Under GPS, we will continue to offer:

  • Generational Assessment & Advising: A deep dive into an organization’s workforce dynamics, providing insights and strategic recommendations to improve retention, culture, and leadership effectiveness.
  • Workplace Communication & Performance Training: Helping teams break down communication silos and develop strategies to lead, collaborate, and perform effectively across generations.

A Team-Led Future

While YoPro Know started with solely me at the help, GPS is not a solo venture— in fact, it’s the opposite. It’s a company built by a dedicated team that has helped shape our strategy, services, and future. I mean it when I say I have the best team. I don’t know how to put it into words, but this team works incredibly hard, trusts and respects each other, and believes in the mission 110%. The entire GPS team plays an integral role in ensuring our impact is not only sustained but continues to grow. Their expertise, leadership, and commitment are what make this transition possible, and their influence will drive GPS forward in new and exciting ways. If you’ve seen our social media channels recently, you know that we have recently celebrated a one year anniversary and two-year anniversaries for two of our team members! For a company that made its first hire in 2023, that’s pretty special. As a company that specializes in keeping talent, we are committed to retaining our own talent, and I look forward to celebrating many more work anniversaries to come.

Looking Ahead

This transition represents everything we’ve built over the past seven years. It’s about giving organizations the tools to lead multigenerational teams with confidence. I’m incredibly proud of our team and the direction we’re heading, and I invite you to join us in shaping the future of work.

As we look to the next seven years, I am confident that this rebrand will pave the way for new opportunities, leaders, and workforce change. Our ten year target is to have 100,000 companies utilizing our proprietary process: Talent Impact Process below. Our new direction will help us achieve this goal, which is all about reaching the Generational Advantage (the mindset that all generations bring something to the table, and being curious about how generations contribute).

To our clients, partners, and supporters—thank you for being part of this journey. We invite you to step into this next chapter with us, engage with our expanded services, and join us in shaping the future of the workforce.

Let’s move forward—together.

Sincerely,

Kamber Parker Bowden
